Aston Martin GT4 Challenge of North America Racing Series Has Successful Debut
The Aston Martin GT4 Challenge of North America racing
series had a successful debut this weekend at New York’s iconic Watkins Glen
International race track. The event was filled with plenty of track time for
practice, a qualifying session and a 35-minute race on both Saturday and
Sunday, May 17-18.
The two races, the first of seven in the new driver
showcase operated by TRG-AMR, resulted in terrific on-track battles. The No. 42
Vantage of Simon Arscott and Bradley Ellis and No.15 Vantage of Robert Nimkoff
captured the first two series victories. This gave the victors the distinction
of being the inaugural winners in the first weekend of competition for the new
GT4 Challenge North America.
The Aston
Martin GT4 Challenge for North America series allows customers and enthusiasts
to compete in identical V8 Vantage racers at some of the best tracks on the
continent.
The next circuit on the series schedule is June 6 - 8 at Virginia International Raceway.
